Where can I return a book?

Library-owned books and Interlibrary Loan materials can be returned through the book drops or in person at any UConn campus library.  Materials from UConn Storrs/Regional campuses cannot be returned to the UConn Health Center Library or Law Library.

Book Drop Locations:

Homer Babbidge

  • North Entrance (across from the seal on Fairfield Way - available 24 hours)
  • South Entrance (just inside the doorway next to Bookworms - available 24 hours, UConn ID required for access after 8pm)
  • iDesk on Plaza (available during Library hours)

Avery Point - outside book drop on parking lot side of the building at top of ramp (24 hours)

Hartford

  • Outside the Arch Street entrance adjacent to the parking deck (shared book drop with the Hartford Public Library – 24 hours)
  • Hartford Times Building Zachs Atrium (Available during Hartford Times Building business hours. This drop can only accommodate small returns. Large quantities should be returned at the Arch St. book drop)

Stamford - outside the library on the campus concourse to the left of the library entrance along the wall (available during Stamford building hours)

Waterbury - outside of the Library to the left of the entrance (available during Waterbury main building hours)
