It’s important to remember that plagiarism checkers are not 100% accurate. You still need to use your own judgment when writing and citing.  Visit the UConn Library’s Plagiarism tutorial, the Understand Citations — Quoting, Paraphrasing, Summarizing guide, and Purdue OWL’s Plagiarism Exercises  for good resources on avoiding plagiarism.

UConn provides instructors with SafeAssign via HuskyCT.  Depending on if your instructor has opted to use SafeAssign, and how they have enabled it, you may be able to view the results.  Ask your instructor about SafeAssign use.

Other free or low-cost options include

Grammarly

EasyBib

Viper

Plagium

In addition you can contact the UConn Writing Center https://writingcenter.uconn.edu/ for assistance.
