The University provides information on available spaces on UConn campuses to study or participate in online courses https://nexus.uconn.edu/studyspaces.php.

There are also individual spaces available in the Library

  • Individual study carrels can be checked out by students for 4 hours at the iDesk on the Plaza Level.  Please be aware that these rooms are first-come, first-served and cannot be reserved or renewed.
  • "Babbidge Booths" are phonebooth-style free-standing pods that are mostly soundproof and are available on Plaza (4), Level B (1), Level 1 (2), Level 2 (1), and Level 3 (2).  These are first-come, first-served and cannot be reserved.
  • You can also use public spaces on collaboration-style floors (Levels B, 1, 2, 3 and Bookworms Cafe). Headphones are available for checkout at the iDesk.

Regional Campus Libraries have individual study spaces available; ask at the Service Desk.
