Due to required COVID-19 quarantine and cleaning protocols, we cannot loan laptops during this time. For more information, please see our Library COVID-19 Reopening UConn page

The Homer Babbidge Library on the Storrs Campus has begun to offer longer term laptops that circulate for 7 days rather than just four hours. Laptops can be charged out at the iDesk on the Plaza Level.

IMPORTANT: These items are paid for by the University of Connecticut's Student Technology Fee, and may only be checked out to currently enrolled UConn students. All equipment loans are subject to overdue fines and replacement costs. Borrowers are subject to fines and replacement costs for items that go missing for any reason.

  • Login with your NetID/Password

  • 7 Day Loan. No renewals.

  • It is the borrower's responsibility to make note of the time & due date.

  • Failure to return laptops when due may result in the suspension of laptop borrowing privileges.

  • Log off of the laptop prior to returning.

  • Do not return laptops to the book drop.  Hand to a staff member.

  • Laptop configuration will not be modified in any way by attempting to install or uninstall software.

  • Do not attempt to change settings.
