Your UConn ID is your library card. Use it to charge out materials at any library Circulation Desk.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, our stacks will be closed and we will provide paging and pick up of materials https://lib.uconn.edu/services/request-uconn-items/. Loan periods have been extended to 180 days and holds to 10 days for all UConn students, faculty, and staff. Recall services are unavailable.

Community borrowing program is temporarily suspended.

The loan period for books is 30 days for undergraduates (2 renewals), and 180 days for faculty, staff, graduate students, and honors undergraduates (5 renewals). Undergraduate students may have up to 150 books charged out at any one time; graduate students, staff, faculty, and honors undergraduates may charge out 300 books.
The loan period for DVD/VHS materials is 14 days. Faculty and graduate students may renew these materials once.

If you are not affiliated with UConn (student, faculty, or staff with a UConn ID), you may be able to apply for a Community Borrower's Card.  See the Community Borrower Program page (http://lib.uconn.edu/services/borrowing/community-borrower-program/) for more information.
